SoDown
Animas City Theatre Presents SoDown Support TBA Friday July 10th 2026 $40 Tickets onsale now online Doors 7:00pm – Show 8:00pm SoDown Hanging around Ehren River Wright’s neck you’ll find a charm with four Latin words: Momento mori, momento vivere. “It means, ‘Remember that you must die, remember that you must live,’” says Ehren, the composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer better known as SoDown. “That’s what this new album is all about.” Recorded at Ehren’s own studio in Denver, Worlds Beyond marks the highly anticipated full-length debut from SoDown, who more than delivers on the promise of his early work with this bold, adventurous collection. Blurring the lines between the organic and the electronic, the music is both exhilarating and meditative all at once, equally at home on headphones as it is blasting out of a festival PA. The writing is deceptively sophisticated, drawing on stoicism and Eastern philosophy in a search for some greater meaning, and Ehren’s production is similarly ambitious, drawing on dubstep, future bass, reggae, and hip-hop with the same intoxicating mix of live instrumentation and electronic elements that’s made SoDown a live favorite on stages from Red Rocks and The Gorge to Coachella and Electric Forest. The result is a rich and cinematic sonic hybrid, one that manages to balance the visceral and the intellectual in perfect harmony as it grapples with life and death, darkness and light, struggle and transcendence.“To be SoDown is to seize every opportunity and try new things,” says Ehren. “It’s about living the most epic life possible.”Momento mori, momento vivere indeed.

TICKETS $20 CASH AT THE DOOR Animas City Theatre Presents Pretty Jane w/ Clayton, Eli Emmitt Band & Ragged Oak Friday March 20th 2026 18+ Minors can purchase single tickets online – one per person 21+ can purchase tickets online or at Animas Trading Company or cash at the door night of show. Doors 7:00pm / Show 8:00pm Doors 7:00pm / Show 8:00pm $18/$20 Listening to them is a bit like leaning on your slightly older, begrudgingly wiser, yet equally confused best friend when shit hits the fan. In a mosaic of alternative and indie punctuated by unassuming pop appeal, the lived experiences of the band breathe fluidly through the tracks as their music yearns for connection, intimacy, for home or the past. The Detroit-born and Nashville-based trio—Trevor Dalrymple [vocals], Luca DiVergilio [bass], and Ethan Strain [lead guitar]—fearlessly flaunt personalities just as outsized as these emotions, garnering them an online following of over one-hundred thousand. After amassing ten million-plus streams and earning early acclaim from A1234, SHEESH, and many others, the band continues to give form to relatable feelings on an upcoming 2025 EP. For as much as they’re on the same page these days, Luca and Trevor hated each other when they first met. “We met because we all dated the same set of twins,” Luca boasts. Best friends Luca and Ethan began dating the twins on a road trip before Luca moved to Spain. Luca returned home to find Trevor, a new addition to the friend group, dating his ex-girlfriend. “Luca and I didn’t like each other at all,” Trevor recalls. “He was the ex-boyfriend, I was the new boyfriend, and we both had the same hair.” Over time, a shared romanticism and passion for art forced the two together and the three friends began recording music in a cramped apartment. Nodding to inspirations such as The 1975 & Big Thief, they approached their artistry from a boundless perspective. Sharing independent singles such as “Spaced Out,” Pretty Jane began to rise with fervent support in the underground. They further fostered a tight knit relationship with the scene through incendiary basement gigs, food fights with their fans, and crowd-surfing without fail at every show. They made waves with the breakout “Too Few Tattoos,” reeling in 7.8 million Spotify streams. A1234 hailed it as “an anthem that fits perfectly in a hangover recovery playlist, and equally so in a reflective morning playlist.” They maintained this momentum with the likes of “Shotgun Wedding,” “Fur Coats,” and “under your tongue.” Of the latter, SHEESH praised, “It personifies an emotion that only abrasive guitar tones can correctly convey, and with this single I can see a real maturation in their music.”
J. Roddy Walston and the Automatic Band
Animas City Theatre Presents J. Roddy Walston and the Automatic Band Friday June 19th 2026 $25 / $30 / 21+ No Exceptions Includes Minors with Legal Guardian Doors 7:00pm / Show 8:00pm Standing Room Only w/ Limited Seating in Balcony J. Roddy Walston is a force of nature. If his hits like Heavy Bells is are a war cry, then the deep cuts like Boys Can Never Tell are a tac@cal cosmic retreat. For some, his music is a form of religion, psychedelic in its intensity, transforma@ve in its grip on the body, shaking loose something primal that’s been buried too long. It’s not about thinking, It’s about moving, feeling, surrendering. His influences are a riot of contradic@ons: Kurt Cobain’s fury, Nilsson’s fractured sweetness, Zeppelin’s power, and somewhere in there a perverted nod to William Onyeabor’s lonely calculator funk. Cri@cs try to box him in, but Walston can’t be contained—he does chaos, and his live shows do damage, but fortunately his songs can pay the tab. Catch him and his band before he burns it all down again. https://open.spotify.com/artist/1FlpoZvmdqEMfKIzgMmSJX?si=3a2n5Px9R7agsIdjmol3wg https://www.jroddywalston.comhttps://www.instagram.com/jroddywalston?igsh=MTF0dWxiMWJ5MTVpbQ%3D%3D&utm_source=qrhttps://youtube.com/@jroddywalston?si=yg43vzEpgHFmelSt
