Since 2013, the band has lit up stages with their trademark brand of “Sweaty Soul Music,” quickly earning their rightful place as one of the best live bands in the region. No newcomer to uplifting spirits, Johnny Burroughs has a background working as a licensed minister and music pastor. His church upbringing serves him well on stage, where the red-headed frontman sings, dances, and screams audiences into a revival-like frenzy. His dynamite backing band includes a sizzling 4 piece horn section and tight 4 piece rhythm section that are as versatile as they are fun to watch. The band’s live performances are capped by choreographed dancing, soaring solos, and funky grooves, with the goal of moving the audience to a joyful celebration by each show’s closing tune. The Burroughs have played prestigious festivals and venues including Salmonfest Alaska, Bohemian Nights New West Fest, Denver’s Underground Music Showcase, and the Mishawaka. They have opened for acts including The Motet, The Steve Miller Band, Keller Williams, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and The Main Squeeze. Previous recorded releases include self-released singles “Zero Sum Game,” “Baby Get Down,” and “I Refuse”; Love and Unity produced by Eric Krasno (2020); “The Slip” and “Forever In Love on Color Red Music (2019); their full-length studio album Got to Feel (2018); the single “You Are My Joy,” and b-side “1968” (2016); and the full-length live album Sweaty Greeley Soul (2015), recorded live at the Moxi Theater. The band is represented by Assemble Sound for sync licensing representation. Since the band’s start, The Burroughs have always embraced their hometown of Greeley, Colorado, with a passion for community outreach. Previous partnerships have amplified the work of great organizations like the Weld Food Bank, Greeley Boys and Girls Clubs, and Habitat for Humanity. The band’s latest mission is an ongoing partnership with Greeley-Evans District 6 Schools titled #BandsGiveBack- a campaign for local artists to pledge money and time dedicated towards providing all area students with access to music education. Providing music clinics and joint performances with high school bands around their city and across the country, The Burroughs hope to inspire the next generation of musicians to find a career path in music.

Formed in early 2019, their debut album “EMBRACE”, a 5-Track EP with a specific focus into the transcendent, tribal, and melodic sound of their collaboration, was released shortly thereafter. In spring of 2021, PYRAMIDIC debuted their original music live at River of Souls Music Festival under a majestic New Mexico sunset. Today, the producer duo have been hard at work on their next studio release. Nathan and Geoff met through the artist collective Tribal Vision in 2016 where they were both slated to perform solo sets as The Monogahela and Psyruleus on that year’s Tribal Vision Festival. The following years saw both Nathan and Geoff regularly sharing stages and rosters on various festivals in the Western Slope and New Mexico regions. After some time of toying with the idea of collaborating on a project, in winter of 2019 the producer duo turned concept into reality and began writing new and original music together. Nearly a year later, Nathan and Geoff released their debut 5-track EP entitled “EMBRACE”. This proof-of-concept release embodied the best of both Nathan’s and Geoff’s sound, style, and creative skill sets by fusing together lush melodic vibes and huge musical atmospheres with driving grooves and fractaloid bass design, properly introducing listeners to the sonic force known as PYRAMIDIC.

Music has been streaming through his veins since birth. Having been engulfed by the electronic music evolution, he’s been along for the ride since the 90’s. West Coast festivals such as Burning Man, Symbiosis, Lightning in a Bottle and Beloved are what really sparked the desire to share musical journeys through DJing. He’s enjoyed sharing the stage with some of the top producers in the industry as well as performed for many festivals. His musical selections are genre-bending and able to appease most audiences as long as they enjoy a touch of bass. Sharing audible frequencies to the Ecstatic Dance community is his most fulfilling experience however. Being able to craft a multiple hour set on the fly in order to support people’s movement practice truly brings him to howl at the moon.

United in their love of traditional Bluegrass and Modern Jam music, they started a band. A traveler and sailor at heart; his lyrics and sound are deep reflections of the reggae roots soul and consciousness of the Caribbean culture in which he grew up but which are equally infused by his hypnotically bluesy folk acoustic compositions and vocalizations. Mishka first emerged back in ‘99 on the independent music scene in London with his eponymously titled debut album put out by the influential Brit record label, Creation Records. The Honeydrops have come a long way since guitarist and trumpeter Lech Wierzynkski and drummer Ben Malament started busking in an Oakland subway station, but the band has stayed true to that organic, street-level feel. Listening to Lech sing, it can be a surprise that he was born in Warsaw, Poland, and raised by Polish political refugees. He learned his vocal stylings from contraband American recordings of Sam Cooke, Ray Charles, and Louis Armstrong, and later at Oberlin College and on the club circuit in Oakland, California. With the additions of Johnny Bones on tenor sax and clarinet, Lorenzo Loera on keyboards, and Beau Bradbury on bass, they’ve built a powerful full-band sound to support Wierzynski’s vocals. More like parties than traditional concerts, their shows feature extensive off-stage jamming and crowd interaction. “The whole point is to erase the boundaries between the crowd and us,” Wierzynski says. “We don’t make setlists. We want requests. We want crowd involvement, to make people become a part of the whole thing by dancing along, singing, picking the songs, and generally coming out of their shells.”
