Dirtwire stands poised between ancient Mother Earth and modern technology, a blend of ethnomusicology and the psychedelic trance state, gut-bucket delta blues and what the band variously dubs “back-porch space cowboy blues, swamptronica, and electro-twang.” It’s a sound informed by Dirtwire’s travels and performances around the globe, where East meets West and North joins South. From the favelas in Brazil, Femi Kuti’s Shrine in Lagos, Tokyo’s bluegrass clubs, Ayahuasca ceremonies in Central America, Gamelan performances in Bali, desert festivals in the Australian Outback, and the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s modernized new capital Astana, the band spreads its message by building bridges across musical cultures in their own unique way. Dirtwire plays an array of instruments both ancient and modern, including West African kamale ngonis, jaw harps, space fiddles, whamola basses, Rickenbacher electric 12 string guitars, bowed Banjos and mouth harps from around the globe, all interwoven into modern laptop beat creation. Hailing from the underground west coast electronic bass music scene Dirtwire finds itself at the forefront of experimental electronic music production mixing in their wide array of world instruments with sampled beats and 808’s. Dirtwire’s live shows are a communal psychedelic journey, which have been channeled into their latest full-length effort, Electric River.

With chops and stylistic leanings ranging from classical to West African, blues, bluegrass, and swing, Fred Kosak, Alissa Wolf, and Cody Tinnin came together around a shared goal of bringing sounds and grooves to their fans that fall outside of easy genre distinctions. With all three band members trading lead vocal, songwriting, and arranging duties, Stillhouse Junkies paint with a rich tonal palette that pays homage to their musical heroes while forging a unique artistic path. Born out of a long-standing weekly residency at a local distillery in Durango, CO, Stillhouse Junkies have quickly become a staple of Colorado and the Four Corners region’s rich music scene, establishing a solid fan base through multi-hour performances that feature soaring group improvisations, novel re-imaginings of covers from the likes of Asia, Caleb Klauder, and Bill Withers, and intimate vocal-driven ballads. Through their strong writing and creative, intricate arranging, the Junkies have built up an eclectic multi-set catalogue of original music that reflects their diverse interests and creative inclinations. Their songs run the gamut of human emotion and experience: disenchantment with the pace of modern living, confronting adversity in its many forms, mortality and aging, and story songs that imagine reality from the perspective of a member of the Lewis and Clark expedition; a small-town bartender; a lonely miner; an imperiled cattle driver. They pay tribute to the remarkable diversity of both the Four Corners area of the Southwestern US and the country as a whole, probing below the surface of everyday life to find the themes that unite us all as Americans and citizens of the world. In November 2019, Stillhouse Junkies entered the studio in Austin, TX to record their third album, Calamity, an epic thematic collection of 12 original songs released on March 7th. This effort represented the culmination of over a year of constant writing, gigging, and rehearsing and was supported by a dizzying schedule of over 100 planned shows across the US and in the UK.Stillhouse Junkies are proud to have been 2018 and 2019 Telluride Band Contest finalists (3rd & 2nd place) and to have been selected for an Emerging Artist Showcase at both the 2019 Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival and 2020 IBMA World of Bluegrass. https://www.facebook.com/stillhousejunkies/

In just a short period of time, his progression has become outright impossible to ignore. Much more than your average DJ/producer, Marvel Years incorporates electric guitar in his live performances. His approach to blending electronic beats and shredding soulful guitar on his original tracks and remixes creates a sound that is a unique hybrid of EDM combing glitch, retro-funk, classic rock, soul, jazz and hip-hop. “Classic rock has been a huge influence on me,” Wythe explains. “I love breathing new life into those older songs. I think that’s a good medium for bringing new listeners into my music because they can relate to that stuff. I improvise (on live guitar) over a lot of my stuff.” Maddy O’NealWith a sound that is ever-changing and coined ‘signature,’ Maddy O’Neal glows amongst her fellow artists across the globe and stands out of the pack as truly remarkable. And that is just where she sets her aim — for being ordinary is not in her DNA. Growing up with two wildly creative parents set the tone for Maddy’s life path, and soon her expression was formed by way of soulful melodic overtones, driven basslines, and glitched out hip hop grooves. “When you hear Maddy O’Neal, you know it’s Maddy O’Neal” and the more you get to know her, the more you realize this is something different. Maddy O’Neal has played Electric Forest, Camp Bisco, Summer Camp, Summer Meltdown, Red Rocks (x2) and many more. El Ten Eleven with special guest SegoTickets on sale now Proof of vaccination (Physical card or picture of card on phone is accepted) or a negative PCR test with 72 hour time stamp needed to enter venue Struggles are sloshed away by tidal waves of champagne. Resolutions are boldly proclaimed or whispered in one’s own heart. A ball drops, and we expect a whole new life to spring out. But nothing is transformed or transposed, because miracles don’t happen during the hung time between this year and the next. It’s just another New Year’s Eve. Few days hold as much promise—and subsequent disappointment—as New Year’s Eve. The spiritual hangover that lingers every January 1 inspired the new works from El Ten Eleven. After a year that changed nearly-everything most-likely-forever, the instrumental duo felt compelled to soundtrack the emotional heave-ho of New Year’s Eve with an album of the same name. A followup to 2020’s grief-stricken Tautology trilogy, New Year’s Eve (out March 4, 2022 via Joyful Noise Recordings) marks a joyous new chapter for El Ten Eleven. Over the course of 20 years and 11 albums, the band has continued to redefine the potential of bass guitar and drums. With an arsenal of pedals, labyrinthine arrangements, and a deft use of looping, Kristian Dunn (bass) and Tim Fogarty (drums) create two-man symphonies. With New Year’s Eve, the duo melds electrifying disco grooves with their tried-and-true experimental rock atmospherics.

The group has their roots in countless river floats, campfires, late night picking, and Colorado living. Since it’s creation in 2012, the band has strived to have nothing but a good time. Their unique sound and high energy performances have lead them to share the stage with the likes of the Kitchen Dwellers, Head for the Hills, Gipsy Moon, WhiteWater Ramble, Tony Furtado, and Bill Nershi to name a few. The band got it’s start in 2012 when Patrick Storen and Emily Winter met and started playing music together. A few common fiddle tunes and Grateful Dead numbers later, the two were ready to perform. Searching for the missing link, they enlisted the help of funk master and bass player Derek Abt. In time, young ”river ridin’ flat-pickin” Dylan Ruckel joined on guitar and vocals. With the addition of drummer Carter Colia and banjo/keys and vocalist Tyler Rice, Liver Down the River was formed. The music is a blend of original compositions and improvisational journeys that paint a picture for the listener. Each member brings their own inspirations and elements to the sound. From the high peaks of bluegrass, deepest pockets of the funk, and outer reaches of space, a unique genre of music is created. Inspiration comes from the band’s collective adventures, lessons of growing older, the following of the soul, and the ability to keep on moving on. The Buzz The quintet, formed in Longmont, CO, is comprised of Methiah Miller (bass, vocals), Jason Flinn (guitar, vocals), Stephen Hardt (keys, organ), Carter Burgess (guitar), and Tom Nelson (drums). The Buzz is a gradual accumulation of like-minded artists with a common goal: to create an experience that “moves” the listener in one way or another, and to share that experience with as many people as possible, as a collective. The Buzz has grown to find Denver as a second home frequenting Your Moms House and headlining Globe Hall as well as Moe’s Original BBQ on South Broadway. In the spring of 2021, they also had the opportunity to show Telluride, Colorado their stuff outside of the Sheridan Opera House. The Buzz has been featured on Denver area stream Camera Jams, Flower Hour Podcast, and Longmont endeavor Can You Dig It podcast. In December of 2020 the band put the final touches on its debut LP “Release the Bees” featuring re-recorded tracks from their debut EP as well as newer tunes. It also features a violin sit in from band friend Alex Tocco of Ghost Town Drifters. The album was recorded at The Keep studio in Denver. This album dropped in February of 2021.
The River Arkansas & Joshua Polaris

The River Arkansas & Joshua Polaris 18+The River ArkansasIn the winter of 2014, Mike Clark penned a collection of songs about heartbreak, love, and escaping the clutches of day-to-day society. The following spring, Clark decided to make that collection into a record. By good fortune Macon Terry, a bass player and former member of the band Paper Bird, happened to be in the neighborhood the day the studio was booked for recording. Though Terry arrived not knowing any of the songs, what they captured was the beginning of something great. Later they would add Robin Chestnut on drums, Rachel Sliker on violin, and Benjamin Gallagher on piano. With the release their third studio album “Any Kind of Weather” the band has hit their stride, traveling the mid-west, south, and western United States as well as playing festivals all across Colorado, delivering their distinctive mixture of Country, Blues, Folk and Americana. www.theriverarkansas.com https://www.facebook.com/theriverarkansas https://youtu.be/ywTBpm4eazs https://youtu.be/Jk6kZpvvjL4https://youtu.be/mOYAxUuslNMJoshua Polaris is a Colorado based singer and songwriter who spent the last ten years touring with his group Elder Grown. Experience his solo adventure for a short time only while during the next year he explores folk music, acoustic guitar playing, and storytelling. This acoustic venture will act as a way to gather funding for planting trees around the world. Joshua Polaris’s style resembles Dave Matthews and John Butler, and blends folk, acoustic alternative rock, and chant into a heart moving sound that is filled with poetry, silence, space, and deep acoustic texture.
JD Simo & GA-20

IMPORTANT UPDATE: All patrons and staff entering the venue are asked to provide proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours. We will require I.D. to match the name on vaccination cards and negative test results. JD Simo… The Chicago-born, now Nashville transplant is like a one-man crusade dedicated to keeping music real, raw, and honest. No matter the setting and no matter his role (whether it’s wingman or bandleader) J.D.’s presence infuses the situation of the moment with the music that’s been fueling him pretty much his whole life, spiced with influences that straddle both decades and dimensions. As a songwriter, guitarist, and producer he has worked with the likes of Jack White, Tommy Emmanuel, Luther Dickinson, Dave Cobb, Blackberry Smoke, and even been a member of Grateful Dead founder Phil Lesh’ “Phil & Friends”. Now he comes forth with his most unique, original and rawest effort yet… “Mind Trouble”. During lockdown in ’20, he started cutting tracks in his makeshift studio on a weekly basis. Joined by longtime collaborator Adam Abrashoff on drums and the addition of longtime friend, bassist-producer-engineer Adam Bednarik (Justin Townes Earle), they mused a proverbial soup of shared influences. Hill country trance blues of Junior Kimbrough, RL Burnside and Asie Payton. Hypnotic Afro Beat of Fela Kuti and Tony Allen. Psychedelic warps of Captain Beefheart, Funkadelic, and Jimi Hendrix. The old school blues of John Lee Hooker, Earl Hooker and Lightnin Hopkins. As well as the raw fuzzy rock of The Stooges and Nirvana. Mind Control is the product of 3 like minded buddies huddled in a humble setting, making music to make them feel good. The songs stark revealing nature, is the product of them using the creative process for therapy and enjoyment. GA-20: Blues music is revered for its timelessness. The best blues –no matter how old –sounds as fresh and visceral today as it did when first recorded. The high-energy electric blues trio GA-20 –guitarist Matt Stubbs, guitarist/vocalist Pat Faherty, and drummer Tim Carman –know this well. Since first forming in 2018, GA-20 has drawn inspiration for their primal, original music from late 1950s/early 1960s blues, R&B and rock ‘n’ roll. They use rare and vintage gear (including at times the famed Gibson GA-20 amplifier for which the band is named), creating powerfully raw, driving music that is at once traditional and refreshingly modern. The band’s dynamic self-penned songs sound and feel as fresh and real as the old blues they love and perform, including songs by Otis Rush, J.B. Lenoir, Howlin’ Wolf, Junior Wells and especially their favorite, Hound Dog Taylor. According to Stubbs, “Not enough people know just how cool Hound Dog Taylor was.”Legendary six-fingered Chicago bluesman Theodore Roosevelt “Hound Dog” Taylor always knew how he wanted to be remembered, declaring, “When I die they’ll say, ‘he couldn’t play shit, but he sure made it sound good!’” His first full length recording in 1971 was also the first album on now world-famous Alligator Records, Hound Dog Taylor & The HouseRockers. In fact, label president Bruce Iglauer founded Alligator for the sole purpose of recording and releasing that album. Fifty years later, Hound Dog Taylor & The HouseRockersis considered a classic of the genre, and Alligator boasts a catalog of over 350 blues and roots rock releases.
